Nina Simone Look

This was a look I did for a youtube contest, based off of a Nina Simone look. It's definitely bold, but the fact that it uses earthy colors tones it down a bit.

Used:
Bare Study Paint Pot- base
Dazzlelight- highlight
Mulch- on lid
U.D Zero- define crease and outer v
Swimming- in crease
Juxt-on brow bone
So Ceylon MSF- cheeks

Viva Glam Gaga

Finally picked up a Viva Glam Gaga! I was worried about how this color would look on me (I'm NC30), but it's a lot more sheer than I had anticipated. I think it's also a great base color to layer different glosses on top of. Here are some pictures/swatches. I also compared it to Snob, which I thought it would be very close to. It's definitely in the same cool pink color family, but Gaga is much more wearable, in my opinion. What do you think? As always, click on the pics to see a larger version =)

Viva Glam Cyndi

I had been anxiously awaiting the release of the L.E Viva Glam lipsticks...GaGa and Cyndi! I ordered both immediately, but due to snow and just generally gross weather, haven't received GaGa yet.

I was really disappointed at first, but then I actually tried Cyndi on. It's an absolutely gorgeous berry red that goes on smoothly and lasts. Here are some pictures and swatches. Definitely check it out if you get the chance, it's $14.00 from MAC and every penny goes to AIDs research!
